I offer a counseling from a strength-based and values-based approach. I generally use Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I have found that building a mindful awareness of our experience of our body, our environment, and our needs is an important part of moving through the healing process and helping you to heal, so you can live your life according to the values you consider important. At the same time, we need skills to use during our day-to-day life. I will guide you to learn and practice new skills and rebuild those old skills that are helpful to finding your stability and meeting your needs.
